CyberSpec

Terms of Service

Effective 2 September 2026

These terms govern your use of CyberSpec, operated by CyberSpec Pro Ltd. (“CyberSpec,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, you agree to them.

Accounts

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure, and enable MFA if you handle sensitive findings.

Scanning authorization

You may only scan assets you own or have explicit written permission to scan. Every asset you add goes through ownership verification and requires you to accept the Scanning Authorization Agreement before a scan can run against it. Scanning infrastructure you don’t own, or that a cloud provider requires separate permission for, is your responsibility to clear — not something CyberSpec verifies on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Don’t use CyberSpec to scan assets you’re not authorized to scan, to attempt exploitation (CyberSpec performs reconnaissance and version detection only, never exploitation), to resell or white-label the service without an agreement permitting it, or to interfere with the platform’s operation for other customers.

Plans and billing

  • Free — one asset, no card required.
  • Pro — $20/month, 20 assets, billed monthly via Polar.
  • Enterprise — custom pricing, sales-assisted.

Polar acts as Merchant of Record and handles billing, tax, and receipts directly — your purchase contract for the subscription itself is with Polar, not CyberSpec. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; your plan stays active through the period you’ve already paid for, then doesn’t renew.

All sales are final — we don’t offer refunds. If a payment fails, you get a 7-day grace period before your data (not deleted) reverts to Free-plan limits.

Intellectual property

CyberSpec and its branding are ours. Your scan data, findings, and reports are yours — we don’t claim ownership of anything you scan or generate through the service.

Service availability

We aim for reliable uptime but don’t guarantee an uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

CyberSpec is provided “as is.” Scan findings are a point-in-time signal, not a guarantee that an asset is secure or that every vulnerability has been found. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CyberSpec isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using CyberSpec and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the scanning-authorization and acceptable-use sections above.

Governing law

CyberSpec Pro Ltd. is not yet formally incorporated, so a specific governing jurisdiction hasn’t been finalized. This section will be updated once incorporation is complete.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page, and portal users will be asked to re-accept it on next login.
